Morning Joe’s chief economic analyst Steve Rattner said the conflict is “already having an impact on what people pay at the pump,” noting prices have risen from about $2.98 to $3.11 nationwide in just the last few days as markets react to the risk of disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz, a key route for global oil shipments.
