From Global News.
During a visit to the World Governments Summit in Dubai Tuesday, Prince Edward broke the UK royal family’s silence regarding his brother’s connection to the late sex offender financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Asked how he was “coping” after British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said Andrew should testify before a U.S. congressional committee for his involvement with Epstein, Edward said the focus should be “the experience of the victims.”
Among the 3 million newly-released investigative files, several revealed Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor maintained regular contact with Epstein for more than two years after he was found guilty of child sex crimes.
The files also include pictures appearing to show Andrew crouching over and touching the waist of an unidentified woman lying on the floor. Her face was blacked out in the redacted images.
Though Edward suggested his Tuesday audience was “probably the least bit interested” in the topic, he added that it was “important always to remember the victims and who are the victims in all this.”
