Following the killings of Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner, their son Nick Reiner remains in police custody without bail as authorities prepare to present his case, surrounding the deaths of his parents, to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

Nick Reiner was taken into police custody Dec. 14 and "booked for murder," according to a Los Angeles Police Department news release. The acclaimed Hollywood director and actor was found dead alongside wife Singer in their California home Sunday, Dec. 14, Los Angeles Police Department Chief Jim McDonnell said in a press conference Monday.
