Savannah Guthrie’s missing mom: Nancy Guthrie updates from Pima County Sheriff in Tucson, AZ

Savannah Guthrie is speaking out as authorities continue to investigate the disappearance of her 84-year-old mother.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department in southern Arizona confirmed Monday, Feb. 2, Nancy Guthrie "didn’t just walk out" of her home, which is being considered a crime scene. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos noted Guthrie has limited mobility and "couldn’t walk 50 yards by herself."

Investigators believe Nancy Guthrie "was taken" from her home outside Tucson, Arizona, after receiving a 911 call reporting she was missing around noon local time on Sunday, Feb. 1.

The "Today" show anchor, 54, thanked fans in a statement Tuesday, Feb. 3, for "lifting your prayers with ours for our beloved mom, our dearest Nancy."
