When a duffle bag explodes into existence over the Nevada desert, Dyson Wheeler ā set to be hanged ā seizes his chance at escape, killing his captor with the shovel he was just using to dig his own grave. Thus begins Wheelerās mission to avenge the death of his beloved wife Rachel, and in the process, create our particular pocket of space-time, The Future That Matters To Us.

This is a story about grief, about the flow of time and how our actions direct and re-direct that flow, in ways we canāt always anticipate. Itās a story about the unsolved and unspoken mysteries of existence: that we are born, live, and die, all without ever knowing why.
Why it all manifested as a sci-fi western comedy, I donāt know. Just another of lifeās mysteries.
