Ambulances stand outside a hotel in central Beirut after it was hit by an Israeli strike, killing at least four people and wounding 10 others. The Israeli military earlier announced it had "begun an additional wave of strikes in Beirut", but said it was targeting the Lebanese capital’s southern suburbs, a stronghold of Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah.
