She was a girl when R. Kelly abused her. Now, she’s reclaiming her identity

From NPR.

Reshona Landfair says she’s reclaiming her identity after decades of being known as the “Jane Doe” seen in a videotape of musician R. Kelly abusing her at age 14. He was initially acquitted on child pornography charges in a 2008 trial, and later convicted on child pornography and other felony charges in separate trials more than a decade later.

In an interview with NPR’s “All Things Considered,” Landfair spoke about her healing journey and her advice to other survivors.
