Texas storms bring record rainfall, hail and torrential rain

Hail battered parts of central Texas as the National Weather Service (NWS) warned of strong storms in the region.

“I had 5 different rounds of hail here in Tow, TX in just 45 minutes!” read a post on X by resident David Alford.

The NWS also warned of “torrential rainfall, hail to quarter size, and winds to 60 mph.”

According to the Dallas Morning News, the storm brought “record rainfall” and more could fall over the weekend.
