From Inside Edition.
Ed Gein was "a kind of fairy tale or supernatural monster come to real life." True crime writer Harold Schechter, author of "Deviant: The Shocking True Story of Ed Gein, the Original ‘Psycho,’" told Inside Edition Digital that Gein achieved a sort of "mythic status" for his dark deeds. Gein’s case drew national attention when he was accused of killing two women and digging up the graves of several others in the 1950s. Gein is now the subject of Netflix’s "Monster: The Ed Gein Story."
