Malaysia and Indonesia are among the first countries to ban Grok AI. The chatbot, developed by Elon Musk’s xAI company and widely used on X, is facing complaints that Grok was being used to generate and manipulate fake images sexualizing women and children.

Artificial Intelligence Minister Evan Solomon says Canada is not considering a ban of xAI, However, his office added that discussions about the deepfake controversy are underway.
