During a hearing with DHS Sec. Kristi Noem, North Carolina Republican Sen. Thom Tillis threatened to hold up legislative business unless Noem’s department could answers his questions about immigration enforcement in his state.

Tillis, who has been critical of Noem about fatal shootings in Minneapolis that killed Alex Pretti and Renee Good, also touched on what he described as failures by FEMA to help residents of his state still recovering from storms.
