Thousands of people displaced from Beirut’s southern suburbs filled the streets and public squares of the Lebanese capital. Displaced Muslims have struggled to observe Ramadan as they lack basic necessities, including shelter and food. Many gathered around Mohammad al-Amin Mosque on Friday in the open air, seeking whatever temporary shelter they can find, as Israeli strikes intensified.
