Americans across the United States are digging out from brutal back-to-back winter storms and a round of bitter cold. The historic snowfall buried parts of North Carolina in more than a foot of snow with four homes off the Carolina coast collapsing into the ocean while hundreds of plows are still working to clear roads and abandoned cars. There is also mounting frustration in Nashville where thousands are not expected to get power back until this weekend. NBC’s Emilie Ikeda reports and TODAY’s Al Roker tracks the forecast.
