Protesters are marching in North York, in the Greater Toronto Area, in a large demonstration of solidarity with anti-government protests in Iran, with police expecting attendance in the hundreds of thousands. The event in Toronto is part of a Global Day of Action with simultaneous rallies in cities such as Munich and Los Angeles, following a call from Iran’s exiled opposition leader, Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi.
