“Total liar”: ‘Live on the Bay’ customers say they were conned of their money on boats never made

Summer is still months away, but this is boat-buying season. But what if you put money down but never got your boat?

Two customers who bought boats from the company ‘Live On The Bay’ three years ago, say they’re out hundreds of thousands of dollars.

The company markets houseboats with the sales pitch of living on the bay in cottage country year-round.

Sean O’Shea tracked down the owner of the company in the early fall in Port Severn, Ont.

“You know where they (the boats) are, and they know where they are,” Joe Nimens said in the interview with Global News.
