French voters with intellectual disabilities are receiving training on how to vote ahead of the country’s upcoming municipal elections, using fake voter cards, ballot papers and imaginary candidate lists.
Historically many French citizens with disabilities were disenfranchised as people under guardianship did not have the right to vote until 2019.
