Donald Trump said he condemns the racist elements of a video shared on his social media account depicting former president Barack Obama and Michelle Obama as apes, but said he would not apologize for the post.

Trump told reporters he had not watched the full video before it was shared and said it was taken down once staff realized images at the end of the clip were offensive.
