U.S. President Donald Trump met Japan’s Emperor Naruhito at the Imperial Palace in the heart of Tokyo as part of an Asia trip aimed at securing trade deals, investment and increased defense spending. Trump was the first foreign leader to meet Naruhito after he came to the throne in 2019.
