U.S. President Donald Trump said that a U.S.-backed ceasefire in Gaza was not at risk after Israel launched airstrikes in the enclave, killing dozens of people, in response to the killing of an Israeli soldier. The Israeli military confirmed the soldier’s death on October 29.
