As the war in Iran enters its second week, U.S. President Donald Trump provided reporters with an update Saturday about ongoing U.S. operations.

“We’ve knocked out 42 navy ships, some of them very large, in three days. That was the end of the navy,” Trump said in Doral, Fla., during an event to launch the his administration’s new security initiative, Shield of the Americas.

Trump also claimed U.S. forces “knocked out” Iran’s air force, communications and all telecommunications. “I don’t know how they communicate, but I guess they will figure something out,” the Republican leader said.

With intentions to continue hostilities in Iran until an “unconditional surrender,” Trump went on to rate the ongoing military operation on a scale of one to 10, claiming it was “about a 15.”

Last Sunday, joint strikes by the U.S. and Israel resulted in the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, marking the first major step in their shared mission to topple the Iranian regime. Meanwhile, Israel continues to target Hezbollah operatives in Lebanon as the war spreads through the Gulf States.
