Joe Kent resigned as head of the National Counterterrorism Center, alleging the United States’ involved in the Iran war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. Kent also said Trump had been duped by a "misinformation campaign."

Trump slammed Kent’s resignation, calling the a conservative politician and former CIA paramilitary officer "weak on security."
