President Donald Trump held his first known cabinet meeting of 2026 on Thursday where he continued to tout his administration’s accomplishments both at home and abroad.

The president did not mention the unrest going on in Minneapolis and ICE operations across the country at all throughout the pool coverage of the meeting, and he did not take any questions from the press pool. Also, embattled DHS Secretary Kristi Noem attended the meeting but did not speak.
