Trump talks Iran War, trade with Spain and more amid chancellor of Germany’s White House visit

US President Donald Trump spoke about the Iran War and the reasons behind the US and Israel’s involvement during a visit to the White House by Germany’s chancellor, Friedrich Merz. Trump also threatened to cut off trade with Spain after officials denied a US request to use bases in Rota and Moron to attack sites in Iran.

Bitish Prime Minister Keir Starmer at first rejected the United States’ use of UK bases but later relented and said British lives were threatened by strikes from Iran. officials are allowing the United States to use British air bases to attack Iranian missile sites. Trump criticized timing of the U.K. decision, saying it "took far too long" to allow the United States to use the bases.
