A video released by the Hostage and Missing Families Forum showed relatives of hostages, with U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick speaking on the phone with President Donald Trump on Wednesday night. This comes after the US president announced that Israel and Hamas have agreed to the “first phase” of his plan to pause fighting and release at least some hostages and prisoners.
