The UN’s Human Rights chief has called on all parties in the conflicts in Ethiopia "to take urgent steps towards de-escalation" in the Tigray region. Speaking in Geneva, Ravina Shamdasani, a spokesperson for the office of Volker Turk, says recent clashes have "highlighted the risk of a deepening human rights crisis" in northern Ethiopia.
