There was celebrations as one of Hamas’ former hostages — now released from hospital— finally returns home.

Hamas still holds the remains of thirteen people, violating the ceasefire. Until the remains are released, Israel says it will hold the Rafah border closed, cutting off much-needed aid but also breaking the agreed-upon deal.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio visited Israel on Thursday, the fourth U.S. official to do so in as many days.
