US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth meets his Japanese counterpart, Shinjiro Koizumi, in Tokyo. The Pentagon chief is visiting Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam, and South Korea on his third tour of Asia, a "priority" region where Washington is urging increased spending by allies to counter China.
