From DW News.
US President Donald Trump says he has struck a trade deal with South Korea, as he visits the country during his Asian tour. Trump was looking to add South Korea to a number of countries he struck trade agreements with on the tour. He’ll also be meeting with the Chinese President in South Korea on Thursday. In July, Trump had agreed to cut tariffs on South Korean imports to 15 % — that was in return for $350 billion dollars investment from Seoul — despite worries from Korean officials that it could destabilize their own economy.
DW Correspondent Rik Glauert reports on the US-South Korea trade deal.
