A baby monkey in Japan has gone viral around the world after videos of him carrying a stuffed orangutan toy were shared on social media.

Punch, less than a-year-old Japanese macaque, has been the center of attention since Ichikawa Zoo in Chiba prefecture, posted a photo of him earlier this month.

According to the post, Punch was born last July and was hand-reared after he was neglected by his mother. He joined the monkey enclosure at the zoo early this year, with his companion toy provided by the zookeepers for comfort.
