Police were searching on Sept. 29 for more possible victims amid the charred ruins of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc, a suburb of Flint and a short drive from Burton. Authorities called Sanford’s attack, which killed at least four people and wounded eight others, an "act of targeted violence."
