WATCH: New statues added to White House Rose Garden

From PBS NewsHour.

President Donald Trump did not take reporters’ questions when he returned to the White House from Florida Sunday after overseeing U.S. military strikes on Iran. Instead, the president briefly stopped in the Rose Garden to point out its new decorations: two new statues in separate corners of the garden.

"Unbelievable statues, you’ll see. You can come and look at them," Trump told members of the press.

A White House official told PBS News’ White House correspondent Liz Landers that the statues are of Alexander Hamilton and Benjamin Franklin, and are on loan to the White House for display from "generous private American patriots."
