What Was The Brown University, MIT Professor Shooter’s Motive?

The man suspected of carrying out the Brown University shooting and the murder of an MIT professor, 48-year-old Claudio Neves Valente, shot himself in the head at police closed in. Syracuse University professor Scott Watson gave insight into the shooter’s personality. Watson was Valente’s best friend. They were graduate students together at Brown in 2000. Valente studied nuclear physics in Lisbon in the same class as MIT professor, Nuno Loureiro, who he later murdered.
