President Donald Trump said he would "love to do it" when asked if he would consider running for a third term in office in 2028.

MAGA podcaster and former West Wing aide Steve Bannon suggested in a recent interview that a plan exists for President Donald Trump to attempt to defy the Constitution and seek a third term in office in 2028.

Trump has toyed publicly with the idea on many occasions since he won reelection in 2024, despite the fact that the 22nd Amendment forbids a president from seeking office for more than two four-year terms, regardless of whether they were consecutive.
