FedEx has become the first major company to sue the US government over President Trump’s sweeping tariffs. The logistics giant filed its case at the US Court of International Trade, asking for a full refund of the tariffs it has paid. Last Friday the US Supreme Court ruled that the US President had acted illegally when he used emergency powers to impose the tariffs. More than a thousand importers have filed similar cases at the trade court, with many more expected to follow.
