A young woman from Edmonton is recovering after a devastating crash that resulted in the loss of both of her legs.
 
"I didn’t know a SUV came and hit me, I was told that. The impact of the SUV hitting me is what severed my legs; the doctors did not perform any amputations," said Raelyn Janssen.
 
The 23-year-old expects to remain in the hospital until the new year. Despite everything, her positivity shines through.
