Israeli police fire tear gas as Muslim worshippers gather outside the Old City walls of Jerusalem to find a place to perform the early morning prayers for Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Holy sites in occupied east Jerusalem’s Old City, including the Al-Aqsa compound, have remained closed for security reasons since the outbreak of the Middle East war on February 28.
