An oyster grower in Prince Edward Island says he’s hopeful about some recent scientific steps forward. Researchers in New Brunswick have mapped the genome of the MSX disease, while the Canadian Food Inspection Agency has also approved permits for a P.E.I. company to import disease-resistant broodstock to study.
