Trump admin displaying slave owner in park named after MLK Jr. is ‘middle finger’ to Americans

For the nation’s 250th birthday celebration, the Trump administration is planning to display a statue of a prominent slave owner that was removed back in 2020. The statue would be put in a federal park named after Martin Luther King, Jr. for six months. Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Eugene Robinson and former Sen.
