“We missed you:” BTS makes comeback with free Seoul concert after 4 years

From Global News.

K-pop supergroup BTS reunited on Saturday as a full seven-member group in central Seoul. Tens of thousands of fans gathered in the historic Gwanghwamun Square for the group’s first concert in more than three years, ahead of a global tour starting next month.

Between performances, the members expressed gratitude to their fans. "I’m so happy that the seven of us can be together again like this. Thank you. I missed you," said member Jimin.

Seoul authorities shut streets and erected fences as well as metal detectors around the square in anticipation of about 260,000 people turning up.

However, Yonhap News Agency later said that about 42,000 people eventually gathered for the event, including 22,000 who had obtained free tickets, citing city government and police estimates.
