The head of the Centers for Disease Control, Dr. Susan Monarez, is refusing to leave after the White House tried to fire her amid clashes over vaccine policies but a White House spokesperson says because Monarez refused to resign, the White House has terminated her from her position. The move prompted four other high-ranking CDC leaders to step down from their posts. NBC’s Peter Alexander reports for TODAY.
