Three people remain in hospital after a dramatic crash between two boats on Okanagan Lake Wednesday evening.

Central Okanagan Search and Rescue (COSAR) said the collision involved two speed-boats and happened around 8:45 p.m. at the south side of the William R. Bennett Bridge.

Initial reports suggested as many as a dozen people were hospitalized. However, B.C. Emergency Health Services later clarified that seven people were treated on scene, with three of them taken to hospital in stable condition.
