From Global News.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Monday that Poland would not hesitate to shoot down objects that violate its airspace and pose a potential threat.
“We will take the decision to shoot down flying objects when they violate our territory and fly over Poland – there is absolutely no discussion about that,” he said.
His comments come after Estonia announced that three Russian fighter jets had violated its airspace on Friday, adding to the sense among NATO countries that Moscow is testing the alliance’s resolve.
Russia said Monday that the claim its jets had violated Estonian airspace was designed to stir up tension.
