"I can’t believe the children are still alive."

A father in Kyiv Province, Ukraine recounts how his children barely survived a Russian rocket that ripped the roof off of their bedroom. On Saturday night, Russia launched one of the largest waves of missiles and drones in years on Ukraine’s capital and other regions.

Ukrainian officials said the attack lasted hours, killing several people in Kyiv alone and wounding dozens more. The attacks came after Russia warned NATO against taking action in response to suspected Russian drone incursions into several European countries.
