Michigan Gov. Whitmer on church attack: ‘My heart is breaking by another mass shooting’

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer spoke at a press conference after at least four people were killed and eight injured when a man drove a vehicle through the front doors of a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and opened fire in Grand Blanc Township, Michigan. Gov. Whitmer said that as a state, residents have experienced shootings at schools, stores, parades, festivals, and houses of worship over recent years. The governor also cautioned everyone to "lower the temperature of rhetoric" and speculation following the shooting.
