Two people are dead and three others are injured after an attack at a synagogue in Manchester, England on Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish calendar. Vincent McAviney reports on how the deadly assault played out, how police took down the prime suspect, and the quick actions that saved worshippers inside the synagogue

Tensions over the war in Gaza are rising after an international aid flotilla was intercepted by Israeli forces about 70 nautical miles off the Gaza coast in international waters.
