Victoria residents rally to help deer with net tangled in its antlers

A group of residents in Victoria, B.C., jumped into action last weekend to rescue a deer that was spotted with a tennis net tangled in its antlers.

The group says its members saw a Facebook post of the animal and set out to track it down.

Hours into the hunt, they found the deer and, with the help of a veterinarian, were able to remove the net.
