Vacationers on a wildlife expedition in Botswana came face to face with a charging elephant. The day started peacefully, as the tourists canoed through a swamp. They came upon a herd of elephants grazing, but they may have gotten too close. One elephant noticed them, and, believing her two calves were threatened, stormed towards them. The pachyderm turned over two of the canoes, and tried to stomp on one of the tourists.
