Brett James Dies at 57 in Small Plane Crash in North Carolina

The country music world is remembering songwriter Brett James after he was killed in a small plane crash in North Carolina. James won a Grammy Award in 2007 for his hit “Jesus Take the Wheel” with Carrie Underwood and was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2020. NBC’s Joe Fryer reports for TODAY.
