Calgary woman discovers bag of historic military medals, sets out to find owner

A Calgary woman reached out to Global News after she found a very unusual bag of items abandoned behind a northeast Calgary school.

Now, she’s on a mission to reconnect a former Canadian soldier to a precious piece of their personal military history – medals.

However, she’s unsure of their status, let alone their whereabouts. Craig Momney has the details.
