The Canadian government has banned an Irish hip-hop group from entering the country.

Kneecap was supposed to perform in Toronto and Vancouver next month, but on Friday morning the parliamentary secretary for combatting crime accused the band of amplifying political violence and supporting terrorist groups, including Hezbollah and Hamas.

The band denies that and, as Eric Sorensen reports, the report raises concerns about freedom of speech.
